Tor

A network that hides who is talking to whom by relaying traffic through three volunteer-run servers.

Tor encrypts traffic in layers and routes it through a chain of relays so no single relay knows both the sender and the destination. The last hop, the exit node, can see unencrypted traffic, which is why malicious exit nodes are a recurring risk for anyone not using TLS.
